In September 2008, Live in Light, LLC was one of 8 Madison area home based businesses featured in Brava Magazine. I was asked what makes my soy candle making business unique. I believe that simply being able to create
things brings out the child in all of us. As an example, when hosting one of my first candle making classes, I was shown by a very enthusiastic 7 year-old that it's totally okay to make a purple-colored chocolate-scented candle!
I love the ability to refill a customer's favorite candle container or to re-use jars that seem to have lost their purpose. It's also fun to frequent flea markets and estate sales in search of one-of-a-kind candle jars that make my candles truly out of the ordinary!
